EXCELLENT RESTAURANT
The Steinbock restaurant, with a unique panoramic view of the village of Vals, is the only Gilde-Restaurant in Vals. The focus is on fresh, regional specialties. The products are almost exclusively homemade. This applies not only to the Graubünden and Vals specialties, but also to the majority of the sauces, the house bread (supplemented with bread from the Vals baker) and our popular nut cake. The antibiotic-free beef comes from Vals, the char from the Lugnez fish farm. The small beer selection with local beer such as the Calanda Lager or the Edelbräu is rounded off with the multi-international award-winning specialty beers from Chopfab. We now offer guests the award-winning brandies from the Ilanz distillery Daguot. The tasty Daguot whiskey, which is recommended by the boss's son, also comes from there. The wine list includes a balanced mix of Graubünden wines and fine wines from more distant regions. From time to time we also have wines, beers and whiskeys in the house that are not on the menu.
