The Steinbock restaurant not only offers a unique panoramic view of the village of Vals, it is also the only Gilde-Member in Vals. The focus is on fresh, regional specialties. The products are almost exclusively homemade. Not only are the "Bündner" and "Valser" specialties homemade, but also sauces, breads (supplemented with bread from the Valser Bakery) and the popular Valser nut cake. The beef raised without antibiotics comes from Vals, the char from the Lugnez fish farm. The small beer selection with local beer such as the Calanda Lager or the Edelbräu is rounded off with the multi-international award-winning special beers from Chopfab. We now offer our guests the award-winning brandy wines from the Ilanzer Destille Daguot. This is where the tasty Daguot Whisky comes from, which is especially recommended by the boss's son. The wine menu features a balanced mix of Graubünden wines and selected drops from more distant regions. We also have smaller amounts of "Secret Tip" wines which we are happy to offer on request.
A surcharge of 10.- per person / day is charged for special food.
On public holidays there is usually only the holiday menu.
During the winter season there is only half board booking possible no a la carte.

We are an officially registered game processing company for game dishes processed and prepared exclusively with game from Bündner Jagd here in the house. Only A-classified animals are accepted. That means the animal was respectfully shot by the hunter with the best possible top shot. Always without a search.
